Been a while to be able to show some images of an exciting project for #oceanx #oceanxplorer I got to design and build.
Working alongside @thegavinthurston@filmsat59 (Gordon Leicester) their input was invaluable.
I got asked to design and manufacture a lightweight bazooka style base and film crane. The bazooka needed to be adjustable in height using mit/moi risers giving them flexibility on deck. The second part of the build, was the crane/arm. Wanting the option to over and undersling the #gss gimble . We came up with a very quick dovetail style joint to adjust the length of the crane if needed. Super pleased with the final result.
