Notice how he visually split the paper in half by temperatures; warm on the left and cool on the right. His aggressive mark making is displayed in acrylic, a medium that he uses to show a skull donned with a Mickey Mouse type hat with a fish through it blowing gasoline onto a campfire. Blazing from the pit is a shirtless old man with glasses and a white beard, hair bald on top carrying a news paper with a blue fireman helmet and pink sweatpants surrounded by avocados. Upper center he has magnificently expressed his love of Grute by being sawed in half.
Say what you want but I think he’s onto something here. Why, how you ask? … he’s Monty.

I’ve pulled the car over and listened to my soul. Try and be still in this moment, and you’ll see anything is possible with perseverance, patience and clarity.
…and so begins. @ladybirdlaurie we have our hands full. We all think reincarnation is us coming back as or in another form, but there is also the continuation of our energy and actions. Here Monty is observing and absorbing the world around him and doing what we do. I will always encourage his interests and especially the one we are witnessing taking root. The character Miles Morales also had a lot to do with it….or rather that character wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for us in this culture, cyclical.
