I did storyboard work for @ride_shotgun on a @cloudninehair ad in 2022.
After work was completed, Ride Shotgun decided they were not going to pay me anything in spite of a signed contract and them using my work in their production.
I took them to small claims court where they lied every single lie they could and gaslit like a mofo.
A year later, they paid what they owed days before the court date was set to go ahead.
During this time, I made a @spotify playlist that became the soundtrack to this entire debacle.

The shot list 📋–that grocery list of must-have film shots needed to create an enthralling, robust narrative. With the shot list being such an essential part of the filmmaking process, it is still surprising to see how much of a ‘hot potato’ it is.
Whose responsibility is it to craft this film pre-production tool? The Director 🎬? The Director of Photography 🎥? The Storyboard Artist ✍️? Maybe a little story time will clear up the debate. Either that or you can add more spuds and stakes to the hot potato game.
