In July @soothe.band , @leontiendeloof and I started a workshop trajectory with @m.leuven and @sojosounds . We explored the full collection to create a music set inspired by the artworks. I was especially drawn to David Claerbout’s “Cat and Bird in Peace” and decided to reinterpret it. Because doomthinking and anxiety often influence my music, the piece immediately opened up many directions for me. To bring others into that process, I asked friends to animate the first scenario that came to mind for them.
The installation is built in TouchDesigner, and the MIDI controller lets you distort the videos even further.
Thanks to everyone involved for giving me the chance to bring this vision into a physical space.

January was all about figuring out how to combine music and digital art. I choose to learn projection mapping, something technically challenging but very satisfying! 🤓
If the venue allows it, i’d love to take the installation across Belgium for my next shows!
