Over the years We have used many different tools produce events … we have used fashion, we have used art, we have used interactive experiences, but the main tool we have used is MUSIC, it’s the universal tool that brings people together, it doesn’t matter the era, the culture, your background, your economic status, we’ve all used music to connect with others and to ourselves, we have used it to help us understand our feelings, to explain our emotions and thought processes, we’ve used music to make friends, to to be with us in solitude, it is a friend and a teacher….the MUSIC IS THE REAL DRIVING FORCE THAT IS BIGGER THAN YOU OR ME….. it is BIGGER THAN US!!!!
Over the years I have come across people that embody this philosophy, they express themselves in ways that capture all the different elements that create community, evoke our emotions and stimulate our thought process, and when I do come across these people, I feel a pull like gravity to help get their message out, and next SATURDAY, APRIL 4th, we have a show for you… and coincidentally…. Their name is BIGGER THAN US…
IT is about you and me, it is about us all of us, all our parts, all our different experiences and goals… all of our quarks and our flaws, our skills and passions, all the pieces of ourselves that make each one of us up, it’s about the community as a whole, the human species in its entirety, is about you and me as individuals and equals, each with a part to play.. which makes the him, her, he, she, they, them, I, and me into a collective group of WE… and if you understand that, than you understand that the collective group becomes bigger than the sum of its parts… it becomes “BIGGER…THAN…US”

(link in bio) New Album alert! I put a lot of love and passion into this album which is due for release on May 29th. This album is a collaboration between the DiN label, who will be releasing the album on limited edition Digipak CD, and Behind The Sky, who are producing it on vinyl. Both editions are beautifully produced and feature the same artwork.
This is my second excursion on the DiN label, having previously released ‘Liquid Geometries’ (DiN57) in 2018. ‘Petite Constellations’ sees Evan sonically exploring in a whole new direction. As the word ‘petite’ implies, the thirteen tracks on this album are musical miniatures, in a way reminiscent of the concise form of some of Erik Satie’s famous piano works. The album was conceived as a subtle homage to Mort Garson, specifically his album ‘Mother Earth’s Plantasia’. It is a series of vignettes, both cosmic and microscopic in scale. It is unabashedly melodic, with contrapuntal analogue synth lines that weave and intertwine around each other. Subscribing to the concept of ‘as above so below’, whereby the microscopic world mirrors the realms of the macrocosm, there is so much detail in these compositions that will slowly unfurl their beauty over multiple plays.
