Small restock of the “Batelaines” tomorrow, October 2nd, at noon PST. I’m working on getting a larger restock together hopefully later this month! I’ve also updated my shipping to include more international locations! #chatelaine #historicalcostuming #antiquestyle #handmadejewelry #gothicstyle
After months of testing and tweaking and learning how to make silicone molds and cast resin and scrapping the finished set to re-sculpt it, I finally made myself a scarab parure inspired by @gdtreal Frankenstein I would love to make @katehawleycostume beautiful blue brain scan gown to match someday too. (I am working on a costume from it but not that one, yet)

Couldn’t stop with just the blue scarabs so I made some faux malachite and faux coral ones to add to my shop too. Now to make a necklace and bracelet in each color too 😅 Which one is your favorite?

Say hello to my new skull. His name is Reece, because I’ve been watching entirely too much League of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9 so I had to name him after Reece Shearsmith, I mean just look at those cheekbones the resemblance is uncanny.

Finally made myself a version of this necklace from Frankenstein. The cross is laser cut acrylic with resin inlay and a tiny cast resin scarab all set on a brass backing so it’s sturdy. Now if only I had time to make the gown too! #Frankenstein #gothic #gothicstyle #historicalcostuming
When I read Never Visit Venice by Robert Aickman I immediately knew I needed to finally make the skull moretta I’d been thinking about. Maybe one day I’ll have a full costume for it and visit Venice in it. #robertaickman #mask #gothic #gothicstyle
It’s fine… This scene just plays in my head every time I start to crash out about choosing the most useless “career” and contributing nothing to the world.
Some prototypes and some orders from this past week. Switching up the music because I was listening to Pulp a lot over the weekend. #chatelaine #frankenstien #gothicjewelry
