Meet Jill Pargeter who trades as @jillparg - Jill will be joining us on Sunday 8th March.
Jill Pargeter has been working as a designer and maker for over thirty years after studying printed textiles at Manchester Polytechnic. She now enjoys creating a range of decorative objects for the
home using her hand printed fabrics with designs inspired by Folk Art, The Arts & Crafts Movement and her love of history, nature and poetic verse.
Her work begins with hand drawn designs which are then developed into a finished silk screen print. She will then hand print onto mainly linen fabric and combine elements of hand and machine stitching, patchwork, embroidery and applique to create a range of work including cushions, lampshades, linen figures, keepsakes and framed textile art.

Introducing Jessie James who trades as Studio Tuft @studiotuft - Jessie will join us on Sunday 8th March.
Jessie James (Studio Tuft) makes hand tufted rugs, each rug one of a kind and totally unique ‘I like to think of them as functional art for the floor’. These handmade rugs are made using quality sustainably sourced rug wools and a top of the line air fed tufting gun which makes them functional with a luxurious thick pile.
Every rug is designed and handmade by Jessie who works in her garden studio in Stroud, she draws inspiration from around her when making the tufted rugs from trips to the beach and flowers growing in the garden.
Each rug is designed to add something special to your home, bring you joy when you see it and make your house feel more like a cosy home with some thing handmade and individual. Jessie also does commissions if you see one of her designs you love but need it in a different size, shape or colour scheme.

Meet Lillemor Latham who trades as Guillemot Pottery @the_crafty_guillemot / - she will be joining us on Saturday 7th March.
Guillemot Pottery, is a small-batch, studio potter working primarily on a potter's wheel with stoneware clay. The focus of Guillemot Pottery is to provide well-made, everyday items for individuals to connect with, bringing beauty into day-to-day activities. Since graduating with a first-class BA (hons), Artist, Designer: Maker, from Cardiff School of Art and Design in 2019, she has moved back to her home on the Isle of Anglesey, where she set up her pottery studio that has been her base for making and teaching for the last 6 years. Having grown up with the impressive natural landscapes of the west coast of Britain, Lillemor's inspiration for her glaze work draws on this immersion. Through the use of colour and layering, suggestions of rugged coastal scenes and mountain ranges are created that sit harmoniously alongside simple printed pieces depicting wild botanical silhouettes.

Introducing Mandy Benton who trades as Mandy Benton Printmaker @mandybentonprintmaker - Mandy will join us on Sunday 8th March.
Mandy is a Birmingham born printmaker and teacher, living and working in the West Midlands.
Mandy’s passion is for printmaking, primarily creating monochrome single block linocut prints. She enjoys all aspects of the printmaking process, from drawing the initial designs right up to that very first tentative print reveal, but the thing that draws her in time and time again is the steady, measured, almost meditative process of carving and of seeing the image slowly take shape in the lino, cut by cut. Each of Mandy’s prints begins with her own sketches, photographs, templates and designs and is hand cut and burnished onto beautiful handmade papers. Each piece is a real labour of love. In a bid to reduce the waste that invariably occurs when creating prints, any unsatisfactory pieces are set aside to use in the creation of original print collages, with each piece unique, a real ‘one-of-a-kind’. Whether working on prints or collages, Mandy’s inspirations remain the same. She is hugely inspired by the natural world and its changing seasons, specifically as is reflected in her own suburban garden. Loving the combination of image and text, Mandy’s own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part in her work.
