I think the last time
@bluejaydancing and I shared the finals floor together was NOVICE finals during the last DNA 1.5 years ago. So cool to watch how far we’ve grown since then!
And not just us, but everyone.
This community is what keeps me in Nashville. There is just nothing else like it. We are far from perfect, but above every disagreement, we’ve fought to protect the mutual respect and dignity we ultimately have for each other. We care for each other. We celebrate wins and we stand by each other when something goes wrong. Just as if the Lord wove us together in this time and place 🥹
It’s been incredible to watch this community grow, and I feel so blessed to be a small part of it. Shout out to EVERYONE who showed up to compete and is continually putting in the hard work to keep growing! I’m so proud of us for that dedication, but I’m even more proud of us for the commitment to loving each other well. This community has changed my life entirely and my time in TN would be nothing close to what it is without these people.
Colossians 3:17 says “do everything in the name of Jesus, going thanks to God the Father through him.” The Lord is working in Nashville, and this is just a small glimpse of the evidence of His work in us. And not because of a win- but because of the way he’s changed all of our hearts along the way.
I’m grateful for this buckle but I’m even more grateful for the way the Lord has brought me to this place. PRAISE GOD for the ability to dance and the mission to share it with others, for others. What He can do in us He can do in you too. He gets ALL the glory. Hallelujah! 🫶
