Melina + Jeff’s wedding was pure island magic. From the moment they got engaged, they knew they’d say “I do” on the Fox Islands off the coast of Maine. Vinalhaven—where Melina’s family has a home—has always been their happy place: rustic, rocky, and wonderfully authentic. With @kmarieeventsanddesign helping bring their vision to life, they hosted an intimate 40-guest celebration that perfectly reflected their laidback, nature-loving souls. Because their venue wasn’t traditional, they built everything from scratch—hand-selecting food, flowers, and music to create a weekend that felt like them in every detail. The night ended under a glowing Harvest Moon, when their DJ invited everyone to walk down to the water. “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young played as they wandered through the grass and flowers, surrounded by loved ones, bathed in silver light, completely present in the beauty of that moment.
