TCB Weekend has been everything and more! Thank you to all my beautiful Black Baltimore revolutionary babes that came out yesterday to make zines in tribute to Toni Cade Bambara’s cultural work and legacy that fuels and affirms us everyday day! I don’t play when it comes to facilitating zine making workshops that center Black feminist joy, care and culture work, I know the spirit of Toni Cade Bambara was in the room with us. Toni’s words: “As a culture worker who belongs to an oppressed people my job is to make revolution irresistible.” We brought her magic to life through our own zine manifestations! The revolutionary reflection is love. What was crafted in two hours will go down in the archives. Thank you to @muse360 for another beautiful collab thank you to @blue.lightjunction for letting us play and zine in your space. I left so full. Until next time.
