Come observe a collection of the wackiest personalities the cosmos has to offer. But be warned: while you are watching the characters, the aliens are watching you. Why would they do this? What is their goal? Who cares when it’s this entertaining!

Also, come get a slice of madness at A Simpson’s Read-Thru 7:30pm-9pm Fusion | 708 Thursday, March 5, 2026 Join us for a chaotic, joy-packed live reading of two classic Simpsons episodes plus a bite-sized Treehouse of Horror! This show turns the festival roster into Springfield’s finest, letting a huge range of comedians jump in, tag out, and bring iconic characters to life with their own comedic flavor. We first staged this in Brooklyn with performers from Comedy Central, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Reductress, and more—and it was an absolute blast. Maximum silliness, zero homework, and a chance to showcase as many festival comedians as possible in one wildly fun hour. You also don't want to miss Riff-a-Palooza Saturday, March 7th, 1:30pm, The Mezzanine at El Rey Theater Performers will get to riff off one another in this all-festival event. I've been mostly using this platform to promote shows and comedy over the last year but here's something from another part of my life. A few months ago (mid-July) I decided it would be interesting to see how strong I could get before the end of the year. Some pretty classic benchmarks are a two-plate brunch, three-plate squat, and 4-plate deadlift, so I figured I would start with that. Anyway I am really enjoying it and just thought it would be fun to share with you guys. I hope you also like my lil corduroy JAZZ hat. Hit me up if you want to move heavy circles around some time. I also really like barbell suitcase deadlifts, suitcase carries, and Jefferson curls. With all except the Zercher squat I went on and put more weight on, but those weren't the benchmarks so they didn't mean as much. Felt great to realize that by the time I tested them, I had already passed them. They felt relatively light. Not really sure what my max is on any of these, but I'll probably try to join the 1000lb club soon since it's probably within reach.
