Joy Giannakidis is a freelancer and professional Handy Dyke with Butch 4 Hire. They grew up in Astoria NY playing amateur pool on and off but really got started in 2018, joining APA for a couple of seasons after moving to Park Slope in 2021. They are a two time winner of the Gingers Pool Tournament and they’ve also won the Sunday 8-ball tournament at The Seneca. Joy’s other extracurriculars include playing Catcher in Big Apple Softball League and becoming a proud plant dad.
Loissa Harrison-Parks, also known as Lo, is an urban gardener and a master’s student in archaeology with a passion for billiards. Originally from Atlanta and having lived in New Jersey and Michigan, Lo has been making her mark in the pool scene since 2017, participating in several APA leagues. When she’s not competing, she enjoys skateboarding, creating music, and exploring antique shops. You can find Lo shooting at Ginger’s, Sandy Jacks and Abe’s.
