I had the absolute privilege of doing classes with Regina and her partner Mark to prepare for the arrival of their gorgeous baby boy Zac… Mark and Regina were so excited and really eager to learn about the whole process from start to finish and Regina had one specific area that she was especially concerned about so we went over it in detail, teased it out, talked it through and it seemed to alleviate some of that stress. Regina has taken to motherhood like a duck to water and both Mark and Regina have taken to parenthood as if it was second nature! Both Chantelle and Toby were eager to learn as much as possible prior to the arrival of their baby girl and were an absolute pleasure to work with. Chantelle was so adaptable and when faced with challenges, she navigated them with such grace and adjusted her course. 🌅 Sunday morning class prep 🌅 I don’t usually provide classes on Sundays but was asked to facilitate a class with a couple who are actually planning on having their baby in Dublin, but who are home for Easter 🐣 To be asked to give a class here at home when I know there are so many fabulous providers in Dublin was a really lovely compliment!! I have previously provided classes for another family member of the couple I am seeing today so it’s lovely to have been recommended 🤗 The couple in today’s class are really eager to have as little intervention as possible and are also really eager to breastfeed so we have a clear pathway for teaching and learning established…. ✨✨Client Review ✨✨ I was sent this review before Christmas and permitted to share the attached pictures of Baby Oisín by Sarah and Dean…. I worked with Sarah and Deane in preparation for the arrival of their beautiful baby and what an absolute joy they both were to work with…. From the moment that we started our classes, Sarah was adamant and steadfast in her desire to prepare herself as much as possible for both childbirth and her breastfeeding journey… Dean was 100% committed to learning about the birthing process, when to advocate for Sarah and how to support both Sarah and Baby Oisín when he arrived. They were absolutely phenomenal and so excited and eager that they do everything in their power to make the whole birthing experience as positive as possible. I am really proud of how they have both adjusted to parenthood, they are naturals, and how well Sarah’s breastfeeding journey has gone…. 🎆 Happy New Year 🎆 2026 🎆 Just a little appreciation post for the most amazing clients that I had the honour and privilege of working with during 2025…. The most amazing parents who were so excited to welcome their little ones and who I was so lucky that they shared their experience with me….. Thank you to each and every one of you and for those who were a little more social media shy and who preferred not to be mentioned, I really am so grateful to you all!!! In 2026, I am returning to Midwifery full time, having realised that this is exactly where my heart lies and I am so looking forward to welcoming more expectant parents through the doors of Blossom, Birth and Bundle headquarters and assisting them in preparing for the births of their little ones 🤍 I am also really looking forward to placing more faith in myself and FINALLY launching my website!!!!! And when I do I will run a little giveaway, so if you know any expectant parents tell them to keep their eyes peeled as I will be giving away a package with two antenatal classes and an antenatal support service…. I’m really excited to start my “Perinatal Mental Health and Childbirth Related Trauma” course in Trinity College this month and hopefully provide an associated service going forward….. I think 2026 is going to be the year that I hope it will be 🤞🏻 All we can do is try and hope and that’s exactly what I plan to do, try my hardest and hope for the best…. 🍂Welcome September 🍂 . . . Happy First of September to all the expectant Autumn Mamas, hang on, you are nearly there 🤰🏻 It’s been such a busy Summer here in Blossom, Birth and Bundle HQ with regular antenatal classes for expectant parents, shifts in the PKU Clinic for me as well as my regular 9-5 🤪 so it has been busy, busy, busy 🐝 I love this time of year and the fact that the first of the month for the last third of the year falls on a Monday is just perfect!!! This month, my website goes live and I’m really excited for all that it brings…. I’m so pleased with my new logo and have been working hard behind the scenes to synchronise my branding for a more professional look and service! ✨✨International Day of the Midwife✨✨ Today is the 05th of May, International Day of the Midwife! Becoming a midwife has genuinely been one of the proudest moments of my life! To support a woman in one of the most vulnerable, yet empowering times of her life is such a privilege. Midwives make such a huge difference to a woman’s birth experience and in the support that she receives in the days after the birth of her baby. To witness the birth of another human being, to witness women becoming mothers and couples becoming a family is one of the most beautiful and privileged positions to be in and I have been lucky to have worked with and to have been trained by some of the best midwives in this country. I have also been lucky to have made lifelong friendships with some of those midwives and count each of them as blessings in my life! Midwives make the world go around 🤗🤍

✨✨Happy New Year ✨✨ It’s been a very quiet Christmas in this house due to seemingly never ending bouts of sickness!! Hopefully the New Year will rid us of the worst of them and we will be back on track 🤞🏻! ✨Antenatal Classes for Blended Families✨ Recently I have received some enquiries from Mamas to be asking if I provide classes for couples who may be having a baby together, where one or both of them may have had children prior to becoming a couple. The answer is of course I do 🤗 The birth of a baby is a time of huge joy and celebration so preparing for that event and being fully informed of all your choices, regardless of whether one or both of you has experienced this before can only be a positive experience. There is no such thing as a standard family, family comprises a group of people bound together by love and support and nothing else….. Whether you have been through the experience of childbirth previously or are completely new to it, you will never regret taking an antenatal class and equipping you and your partner with the knowledge and skills to prepare for the impending birth of your teeny new baby….
