It started with a cookie sheet, a hand-written recipe card and a love of making treats for friends.
@bloomcookieco began selling in farmers markets in and around Edmonton, and soon grew to offering wholesale options to numerous cafés around town. In 2018, Bloom opened their first storefront on 124th Street before moving to their new location in Goldbar.
Their cookies are egg & dairy free, made in a nut-free kitchen and made without the use of any animal products. Serving up delicious, locally-roasted coffee - this is the perfect cafe to meet up with friends while accompanied by the smell of freshly-baked cookies.

Our second Mother’s Day week special is brown sugar shortbread with a mocha glaze. Brown sugar shortbread has a nice toffee-ish taste and pairs beautifully with with the cocoa and fresh espresso glaze.
It’s Mother’s Day week (don’t forget!) so we pulled out some really special flavours. The first of the three featured is strawberry lemon sammies. A few things you could be eating today! Fresh baked soft pretzels, crispy and spicy samosas from @drift_foodtruck , a lemon raspberry scone or pineapple mango muffin (mays feature), or some freshly baked soft cookies. Swing by the shop to try any of these out and pair it with a cup of coffee or a latte made with @rogue_wave_coffee
Slushie season is back!! This week’s featured fruit slush is made with passion fruit, strawberry, pineapple tea from @theteagirl . It’s tangy, sweet, and tastes like a refreshing fruit punch! As always, we also have our version of an iced cap made with oat milk, brown sugar, drip coffee and espresso from @rogue_wave_coffee . Swing by the shop for sip on this warm sunny day!
Starting this week, we have extended summer hours! We’ll be open until 7pm on Friday and Saturdays, and an hour later on Sundays until 5pm. Pop by after dinner for a treat or enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon sipping coffee.
Posted this in stories yesterday. Our brand new featured biscuit is sweet corn chilli crisp. Layers of housemade savory and spicy chilli crisp in a cornmeal biscuit stuffed with sweet pops of peaches and cream corn. This one is super spicy but the balance of sweetness makes it balanced and delicious! We’ve also made a chilli crisp mayo dip for our soft pretzels. Available until the end of May
Quickly becoming one of our most popular features, Rice Krispie marshmallow is a mix of brown and white sugar, crunchy bits of crispy rice and gooey vegan marshmallows! It tastes like a fresh Rice Krispie square and is a staff and customer fave. Available all week in the shop!
Some cookie flavours require a bunch of tinkering and experimenting to nail down and some are just as easy as putting a bunch of delicious things together. Dark chocolate chips and tangy dried cranberries in a soft and chewy oatmeal cookie. Simple and delicious! We forgot to post this month’s baked goods! 🤦♀️This month we have pizza biscuits, a flaky and soft biscuit flecked with oregano and layers of sweet and savoury tomato. Our muffin is blueberry bran, and while bran might scare some folks, it is darn delicious! And finally, our scones a strawberry banana with a vanilla glaze! And of course we always have fresh baked soft pretzels and @drift_foodtruck samosas!
