In this episode, Boyle duo @blokes45 bring a mix packed with high-energy grooves, euphoric moments and darker hypnotic sounds, all tied together with heavy kicks and rhythms.
Their journey into music started young, listening to dubstep while gaming together before getting pulled into the local scene through events in Sligo and festivals like Life. From there, they began running their own nights and afterparties in Boyle, eventually moving into production and spending countless hours making music together.
Their influences come from all over — from artists like Hadone, Tommy Holohan and Funk Tribu to rap, rock and anything else that inspires them creatively. That openness shows throughout their sound.
With upcoming sets at Night and Day Festival, summer events in Malta alongside HOOCH and Poxy, and continued work with Runaway Club, BLOKES45 have a busy few months ahead.
