I opened my fast at the front of the Kaaba.
As the adhan filled the air and the sky softened over Makkah, I held my date in my hand and felt my heart trembling. After a day of fasting, thirst, and reflection… this is where Allah chose for it to end.
Right in front of His House.
Right where millions turn in prayer.
In that moment, it wasn’t about the hunger. It wasn’t about the crowd. It was about standing there, knowing this was written for me long before I ever dreamed of it.
Breaking my fast so close to the Kaaba felt different. Sacred. Overwhelming. Transformational.
Some blessings don’t just make you happy, they change you.
Alhamdulillah for an Iftar I will carry in my heart forever. 🕋🤍🌙

To witness rain falling on the Kaaba felt like watching mercy descend from the heavens.
A reminder that no matter how heavy life feels… Allah’s رحمة always finds its way to us.
May this Ramadan wash our hearts clean, forgive what we hide, and bring us closer to Him.

As a photographer, there are moments you dream of freezing in time and for me, this was the one. Standing before the Kaaba, heart full and hands trembling, I realized that no lens could ever truly capture its majesty… yet somehow, this simple shot on my iPhone 17 Pro Max became my favorite photo I’ve ever taken.
When I first arrived in Makkah, I had my DSLR packed and ready, but something within told me to leave it behind to focus not through a viewfinder, but through my soul. Every step of my Umrah was a journey of presence, reflection, and connection. And when the time came, this image found me effortlessly, beautifully, perfectly.
This isn’t just a photo. It’s a memory, a prayer, a lifelong dream fulfilled.
