since we stayed most of our trip in changsha, we also worked and even developed something of a daily routine. pilates kept me moving – plus the average 20k steps that we collected during city walks 🤝🏼 everything was new for me so I tried to take it all in and in the process noticed a million things that made me curious, inspired me, made me question things and opened discussions. Up to the point where @xianzheyang66 told me „I’m not ChatGPT“ 🥲 thank you for your patience and for being curious with me 💞
PS: at first I truly thought it means no trumpets allowed 🥲

Performance, 2025 / aus meiner Serie „Brücken und Barrieren“
Das Projekt beschäftigt sich mit den Grenzen des Sagbaren im Kontext von Depression und erforscht das Potenzial von Metaphern in der Kommunikation depressiver Gefühlswelten und Erfahrungen.
Seit 2022 sammle ich dafür metaphorische Beschreibungen betroffener Personen über eine von mir konzipierte anonyme Umfrage sowie durch Literaturrecherche. Dieses Material übersetze ich in Fotografien und Videos. Jede visuelle Übersetzung ist als Vorschlag zu verstehen: als ein Versuch der Annäherung, im Bewusstsein, dass sich die Erfahrung von außen niemals vollständig erfassen lässt.

after spending february in china, berlin is finally blessing us with sunny spring days 🥹 traveling was great but i was just as excited to come back and really kick off the new year. although i truly love my freelance life, it can be overwhelming and lonely at times. especially when you’re struggling with personal life like losing a family member and you feel this inner unrest that you need to keep going anyway. currently i’m mostly hopping between ballet studios and my desk, but sometimes being offline and getting some fresh air helps me most to refocus. so i’m trying to get outside (+ wearing cute outfits 🤠) as much as possible in between. it’s not as fun but can we start talking more about our struggles to support each other?

in february i went to china with @xianzheyang66 for the first time and came back with a full heart and a new family 🥺 after two years together it was about time we visit your home together and oh my… thank you for making this trip so special and for taking care of everything so that i could fully dive in – exploring your hometown, celebrating chinese new year with your friends and family, finally trying all the food you love and so much more. can’t wait to share more and can’t wait to visit again 🗺️🇨🇳 #changsha #新年快乐
