Back in the mid nineties, I flew from Hawaii to California to drink beer with Carnie, but we both ended up skating at some concert called “Doheny days” we got free beer and backstage passes for “X” so that was cool.
The ramp was terrible… the “filmer” wall looked vert, but it would move 5-6” back every time youd roll up, so fake vert.
The free beer helped. But not much. So I guess I actually did get some free beer and almost die on this sketchy ramp and see X, they ripped! Dave ripped too, probably because he wore pro design knee pads and was channeling the power of wild Dave (the Texas guy that made those pads)
