Casa Museo en Villa Cangrejos is proud to announce RENACIMIENTO, a solo exhibition by Christian “BLKEYE” Gonzalez, marking the artist’s first exhibition since returning to his home island of Puerto Rico.
Rooted in memory, research, and cultural excavation, RENACIMIENTO emerges as a powerful reflection of the studies and historical inquiry Gonzalez has undertaken so far during his residency in Santurce.
BLKEYE’s unique perspective and artistry unveil the layers of Puerto Rico’s frequently concealed and untold histories. Through this body of work, Gonzalez invites viewers into a process of rediscovery, reclamation, and rebirth — a renacimiento of collective memory.
