Unit 4 Update.
We wanted to create a stunning kitchen worktop that wouldn't break the bank.
We took a dirty scaffold board
We dried it.
We sanded
We sanded it lots
We added wood dye
We sealed it.
We did this 3 times.
We joined the 3 together.
We built a dam.
We poured over 4ltrs of resin
We didn't stir the resin properly.
We messed it right up.
We spent hours scraping the chewy, sticky resin off.
We sanded again.
We added the same detail we have on our ceiling.
We added a black streak through it.
We bought more resin.
We mixed it properly.
We added gold flakes
We poured it out.
We achieved something beautiful
We absolutely love it
Its what we do.
Sometimes you have to make the call and get the Legend in.
He might be 107 but there's still no one better.

This is our final week at 19 Desborough Lane and our final week of paying rent to a landlord!!!
Although Unit 4 isn't quite finished we are in a good enough place to finally start our move across the city (we still haven't got any electricity yet 🤣🤣)
Now we have loved every premise we've set up camp in and we've always had fantastic landlords but its safe to say our new home will be our last.
Remember the greatest toilet ever? Here it is, unfinished but looking fabulous.

The Wheelie Bin Scale
Quite simply, we count how many wheelie bins fell over in our lane.
Records were well and truly shattered last night — a solid 9 on the Wheelie Bin Scale 🌬️🗑️

We get asked the same 3 things every single week:
1. I didn't know you did domestic work?
Absolutely we do domestic work. Granted our commercial work makes up the majority of our business but we excel in domestic decorating.
Take a look.at this bedroom we've recently completed, from idea to final product we carried out every step of this beautiful room. From the wood panelling to the metallic gold feature wall, every aspect was delivered beautifully by BLKC.
2. But you're going to be expensive?
If you want cheap then there's plenty out there for you to choose from.
If you want high end quality, the pool gets a bit smaller.
Quality costs, and rightly so.
Pound for pound up against decorators of a similar standard, we think we are excellent value for money.
If you don't ask, you'll never know.
3. But you're never available?
Not strictly true. Yes, sometimes we can be hard to.pin down but sometimes we have pockets of availability. Again, you never know unless you ask.
Winter is quieter than the summer so if you’re looking for quality decorating give us a shout. You never know your luck.
