Heading back to @seayou_festival this year feels like a complete circle. 4 years ago, in 2022, I made my debut here. My first festival outside India, my first echo in Europe. I opened the stage, just grateful to be there, carrying a sound that was still finding it’s place. I didn’t know that moment would stay with me the way it did. This summer, I return to the same lake.. but everything feels different. Same water. Same sky. Same stage. But this year, i’m coming back to headline & close the stage. There’s something deeply poetic about that. Like the lake kept a memory of that night, and now it’s calling me back to finish the story we started together. Almost feels like a dream slowly taking shape. In all of this, I get to carry a piece of home with me. Makes me proud to be the only one representing India on this line up. Excited to be sharing the stage with artists I grew up listening to, artists that unknowingly shaped me. This journey hasn’t been loud. It’s been patient, quiet and full of unseen moments that slowly shaped this version of me. And somehow, it’s led me right back here. If you’ve ever trusted the long road, you’ll feel this one. Fragments from ‘Glass Skies’, my debut album on @desertdiscorecords 🌌 This LP sits across five tracks, each one shaped in a different moment, a different headspace, drifting through indie dance textures and peak-time energy that I was deeply connected to at the time. It’s a body of work that slowly came together over a long stretch, almost like watching a sky change color without realizing when it shifted. Every track carries its own weight. Different grooves, different tempos, different emotional temperatures. Indie dance, melodic techno, whatever you want to call it. For me it was never about fitting a sound. It was about chasing a feeling just out of reach. Something between euphoria and distance. Movement and stillness. Looking back, this record feels like a closing chapter. The last imprint of a version of my sound that felt honest then, but doesn’t define where I’m heading now. The next release is already taking a different shape.
