HMMM , there’s something truly unique and beautiful about Yoruba culture, especially when it comes to traditional marriage rites. These few slides only capture a glimpse of its richness. One touching moment is when the groom’s mother carries the bride on her back, proudly presenting her to all the guests. The bride then kneels to greet the entire family, showing respect and humility, before sitting on her mother-in-law’s lap , a symbolic gesture full of warmth and acceptance.
