BLIND AMBITION (@blindambitionx ) darüber, welche Emotion sie beim Musikmachen am meisten antreibt: „Das ist immer unterschiedlich. In erster Linie geht es uns darum Spaß zu haben und das auch auf die Hörer*innen zu übertragen. Aber ich würde sagen, dass es mir darum geht, Situationen aus meinem Leben zu verarbeiten, mit denen man dann im besten fall relaten kann. Zum Beispiel gab es Leute, die mich verarschen oder ausnutzen wollten. Aber es gibt auch Songs wie ‚Bleached‘, in denen ich über eine (disfunktionale) Beziehung singe. Ich versuche, uns da nicht in eine Schublade zu stecken, sondern bei jedem Song individuell zu schauen, was mich grade so beschäftigt.“
🔎 Mit einer klaren Attitüde und einer Prise Selbstironie erobern Blind Ambition seit Anfang 2025 Moshpits in der ganzen Republik. Mit Einflüssen irgendwo zwischen klassischen Two-Step Rhythmen und Nu Metal Passagen mit Singalongs haben die drei Frankfurter ein völlig eigenes, frisches Soundbild kreiert und lassen dabei Genregrenzen gekonnt hinter sich. Im Talk kündigt Kolya aka cole der Band an:
„Unsere Fans können sich einerseits auf eine Menge Shows (checkt unser Insta für News) freuen und andererseits auf neue Musik. Ich denke, dass wir Ende des Jahres nach ‚Gutter’ noch einen Song releasen werden und für nächstes Jahr ist eine EP geplant.“ 🗣️
Abschließend möchte die Band noch etwas loswerden: „Nehmt euch selbst nicht zu ernst, supportet andere lieber, als ihnen auf den Sack zu gehen. Hört auf zu gatekeepen, das ist einfach nur corny.
