Pt. 2 of save some bread doing it yourself on the 200
Cabin air filter.
This the first vehicle I’ve encountered where the setting of air has to be on circulate to access to the filter. Have u encountered something like this before?
Note that this is the proper way to remove the filter, have heard of many cases people prying it open while closed instead of making sure its set to recirculate, if not you will break it.
Nonetheless a quick easy replacement.

I bought the 200 shy of 40k miles and man has it been a blast this past year, taking trips left and right. Embarking upon my 60k mile service being the first “big” service job, i chose to defer on a few tasks such as this one (a few more to come) to save a little bit. Changing a battery is not too tall of a task and deferring this along side my filters saved me a couple hundred by doing the labor myself. Next is to clean the engine bay once it stops raining😅
I know i could’ve brought it elsewhere, but this 200 has been mainly maintained through the dealer, just want to keep it up, and keep the value up by recording the history as much as possible esp with the big service jobs.
I also deferred replacing the battery at the dealer because i wanted to swap to an AGM battery with dual battery being somewhere close in the near future. will be documenting more 200 content soon.
One of the reasons i love the 200 is the aftermarket is finally developing, now finally more opportunity to build and modify this platform. uae, japan, australia definately have bigger after market support for the 200

They got me squared away with their snorkel mod (can use the tank horizontally, normally it would have to be upright) gauge flip kit ( so i can read the gauge in the right orientation) refilled and mounted my tank to my @billie_bars panel (totally freed up space in my truck bed)
If you’ve got access to Co2 fill stations and run larger tires i highly suggest running a power tank.
the quickest and most efficient way to air back up, blow trail dust, inflate paddle boards, pool floaties, and even use airtools.
