I didnât write this book for chefs. I write it for the Caribbean woman who was raised in a kitchen and told, quietly or loudly, that the kitchen was her ceiling. I wrote it for the girl who watched her grandmother who cooked for an entire village and never once heard the word âentrepreneurâ used to describe her. I wrote it for the women who built something, lost it, and had to decide in the silence after wards whether she still believed in herself. From Coal Pot to Corporate CEO is not a cookbook. Itâs not a business book. Itâs a map drawn from memory, seasoned with loss, and written for every woman who is figuring out that her culture is not a limitation. It is the credential.
