In this business it’s often the storm before the calm. There are so many moving parts that go in to making all of the events we are involved in memorable and seamless.
The emails and phone calls, testing out new presentation elements, creating beautiful floral arrangements, preparing and sending out carryout catering orders, packing up for offsite events, hand painting our floors, delivering snacks to @goodlandohio , and don’t even get us started on food tags! On any given day you can see all of these details coming together. We couldn’t do it without each other, all of you, or our trusty drive thru drinks to fuel us! 🥤😜

A Kitchen Manager at Bleu and Fig is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards, managing inventory, and leading the culinary team.
This role involves creating menus that align with the clients vision, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
The Kitchen Manager will also handle staff training, schedule shifts, and collaborate with other departments to provide an exceptional event experience.
Strong leadership, culinary expertise, and a passion for innovative cuisine are essential for success in this position.
Bleu & Fig is a boutique catering and event company seeking reliable, hospitality-driven front of house event staff for ongoing part-time roles. We’re a tight-knit team that takes pride in creating beautiful, seamless events while still keeping things fun along the way.
This role is ideal for individuals with prior serving or event experience who are professional, dependable, and genuinely enjoy taking care of guests.
Our team works both on-site at our event space in Clintonville and off-site throughout Columbus and surrounding areas, so flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude are key. Scheduling is flexible, with shifts typically posted about one month in advance, along with occasional last-minute event opportunities.
We offer above-industry pay along with a tip share.

Last night at Bleu & Fig, we joined their Edible Art Club for a Cookie Decorating for a Cause class and it was about so much more than what we made.
This class was created to support community members impacted by anti-immigration actions, and every single dollar went directly to Corazón Deshilado, an organization doing real, meaningful work for individuals and families who need it most.
Six cookies, a table full of creativity, and a room full of people choosing to show up, speak out, and support in a tangible way.
It doesn’t always have to be big to matter, but it should always mean something. 🤍
