🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
We would like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our charity over the years and been part of the journey. Your support has meant everything to us.
Today marks the end of an incredible chapter. As of 31st March, Bletchley Boxing Community Hub will officially be closing as a charity.
But this is not goodbye — it’s the start of something new.
We’re excited to announce that the gym will be reopening under a new name: The Box Fit Centre Ltd, becoming a commercial gym with bigger opportunities for growth and development.
We’re also pleased to share that Kevin McCarthy will be the CEO of Box Fit Centre Ltd, and we’re delighted to welcome Sadie Whiteland as our new Gym Manager.
We want to reassure everyone that this space will continue to be the home of Bletchley ABC 🥊 Our commitment to developing amateur boxing and supporting athletes within our community remains as strong as ever.
This exciting change will allow us to expand what we offer, and we can’t wait to share what we have planned very soon.
We’re incredibly excited for this new chapter and look forward to building an even stronger fitness and boxing community together 💪

🥊 Some exciting news to celebrate! 🥊
We’re incredibly proud to congratulate Jack Clayden, one of our competition boxers and an England Boxing–affiliated judge, who recently won Sport MK 2025 – Sports Achiever of the Year 🏆
Jack earned this award after an outstanding year that showcases not only his talent in the ring, but his dedication to boxing as a whole.
Last year, Jack became Home Counties Champion at the National Development Championships, earning recognition as the best boxer in his weight and age group across the region. He then went on to compete internationally at the King of the Ring Box Cup in Sweden, one of the largest box cups in the world, where he secured Gold and became an International Champion — incredible achievements to accomplish in the same year.
Outside the ring, Jack continues to impress. Just two months after turning 16, he qualified as an England Boxing judge, making him the youngest qualified judge in the country. He has already judged over 100 amateur bouts, earning huge respect within the boxing community for his professionalism and commitment.
Jack truly embodies hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication to the sport. We couldn’t be prouder — a hugely well-deserved award. Well done Jack! 👏🥊 #sportsachieveroftheyear #sportmk #boxing #miltonkeynes
