We’ve heard countless people say, “I returned to church because Pastor Yemi noticed I was missing and called me.” That statement alone captures the kind of shepherd you are! Ever present, very intentional, and unwavering in your care for God’s people.
There are days we all feel stretched by the work, but your passion reminds us why we started. Your energy is contagious. Your consistency is inspiring. And your sermons? Sharp, timely, spirit-filled.
As a woman in ministry, an amazing wife, an awesome mother, a woman in engineering, you carry all these roles with such quiet strength, fierceness and softness. And yet, you still pause to ask, “How are you doing?” every Sunday no matter how preoccupied you are.
