Kingpin are proud to announce that we will take to the stage for the first time in over 6 years on 13th June 2026 as part of Grindhound Day, an all day event where incredible bands of various genres rip it up to raise money for Greyhound Rescue Fife. The past two Grindhound Days have raised over £2000 for the dogs; hopefully this year's event will help push that number significantly higher again! 🐾
Despite often being too fast for the hardcore kids and regularly having too many breakdowns for the thrash elitists, Kingpin proudly waved the banner for GHC and Scotland's heavy music scene up and down the UK and across Europe when few others did and found so many friends at class shows along the way. When we found ourselves without a guitarist right before our first UK tour in 2014, Steven Beck and Sean Barrett stepped up and joined the band, eventually recording the "TRUTH" EP with us. Just as they saved the day back then, Beck and Barrett are back with us now to make sure that Kingpin go out the same way we always did things - on our own terms. Joining us on the drumstool will be the mighty Dani, who some of you may know from Barrett's other band Wolvesrot.
We can't wait to play some Glasgow crossover classics for you one more time on this excellent mixed bill, and hope you can join us and all the other class bands in raising some money for a great cause. 🫡

Glasgow hardcore legends Bleaks are embarking on a three leg tour of Ireland Paddy's Day weekend. Bank holiday Sunday you can find them at Teach Torthaí in Dublin City centre (DM for address).
They'll be joined on the bill by @void_revenant@vsevolod_plotkin and @flesh.b.bugged it'll be heavy, it'll be weird, it'll be fun.
This is a BYOB 18+ event in a collectively run social centre. If you're coming then be ready to be sound, be considerate of the space, and of the people around you.
If you don't know where Teach Torthaí is you can shoot us a DM. If you do know where it is then don't share the address publicly or pictures/videos of the building.
This'll be €10 on the door with limited capacity. €8 if you buy a ticket in advance (see link in bio) and there's a small amount of bring a friend for free (essentially buy one, get one free) tickets up for grabs if you move fast.
