“How do you run a sustainable on-site catering service?” One might ask.
The answer is simple - we run on solar power!☀️Solar panels are part of our mission to go greener and reduce our footprint on film and commercial sets.
With panels and battery storage we can:
- cut down noisy diesel generator use
- enjoy cleaner air and a calmer work environment
- hear birdsong during those early morning forest shoots.
Most of our electricity goes to essentials like the coffee machine, washing machine and other appliances but the solar power allows us to use the diesel generator only around 2 hours a day instead of 12.
Our goal is simple - serve great food sustainably, without disturbing nature or the neighborhood. 🌍🌿
