@logiclost - Hero Worship (alternate score for A Page of Madness) 🔗in bio . . In the process of making "Hero Worship", Logic Lost had in mind a film that aims to convey feelings of madness in a world where its residents are made to feel helpless of anything better. As a result, the entire Hero Worship EP is now serving as an alternate score to the 1926 Japanese silent horror film "A Page of Madness", or 狂った一頁 ("Kurutta Ippeji"), directed by Teinosuke Kinugasa. In the film, we see a man (Masao Inoue) who works as a janitor at a mental asylum in order to be near his wife, who is interred there. Although his wife suffers genuine mental anguish, the man believes he can rescue her from the horrid conditions that she is subjected to at the asylum. The happenings inside the asylum are presented in a surreal, fantastical way as the man bears witness to the madness unfolding around him, from a dancing woman who stirs the emotions of the patients to a doctor who holds a firm grip on power.
