Weeks posts
I’ve been trying to take a break from Instagram for awhile, so my August sales #’s are a few weeks late. This was almost 100% book sales! 🤙🏼 - September 1st also marked 1 year of quitting my job and going all in on my business. 📚 and 👟 have been my main focus so far, but I’m excited to see what else we can dive into in year 2. 👍🏻

Sales numbers for May 2019 are complete. - Book numbers are still on the rise, and I was able to more than double my shoe sales from the month before! - Gotta keep up the book momentum in June, with textbook season right around the corner. I’m also shooting for 100 pairs of shoes sold this month. 🤙🏼

Here’s the full haul from hitting 5 Nike Outlets yesterday. This was my 2nd time dedicating a full day to sourcing at the outlets. I was able to flip 11 pairs on to @stockx before checking out, and 32 more pairs for Poshmark, Mercari, and local deliveries. Flipping more shoes, along with books has been a great way to diversify my business. Shoutout to @rnzynow & @flips4miles for the inspiration!

With only a few days left in the month, these red and green numbers can give me a lot of perspective. The red number is hard to wake up to and look at everyday. - Last month I crushed my goal of $10,000 in sales for one month and sold through a huge chunk of my inventory. So, this month I knew sales would not look the same. Since it would take some time to build my inventory back up. Even though I knew the reality of that it still sucked to see red. My goal to handle this, was to send in at least 800 books this month, and bulk up my inventory as fast as possible. With a few days to spare I was able to hit that goal! - On the other hand being able to see that green number for the first time this past week has been really exciting! It’s awesome to see that progress and growth over the past year. It’s been one year since my first sale on Amazon, and I’m closing in on $50,000 in total sales since starting last February! I’m excited to finish out February and roll into March. - The game plan for next month has improved, and I’m shooting for 1,000 books sourced and listed! I can’t wait to see what my #’s look like a month from now! - Thanks for following along! I would love to hear some of your goals for next month! If you have any questions feel free to jump in the comments and ask away, or shoot me a DM!

FRIDAY NIGHT FINDS Here’s a quick look at a couple of finds from tonight. 30 books total in a little over an hour of sourcing. Tomorrow should be a full day of sourcing, shooting for a minimum of 100 books.

⚪️🔵⚫️ Jordan 1 UNC Patent Was lucky enough to grab 2 pairs these this past week. Hoping to snag at least 1 more this week. I’ll likely keep these stocked for awhile and see how high the value goes 📈.

Mid month sales check in. I’ve got a long climb back up to hit those numbers from January. On track to send in at least 800 books this month.

Just barely broke the $6,000 sales mark for the month of August. This was by far my best month of sales. Between reinvesting and saving most of my profits from the summer I am excited to be able to quit my job and do this full time as well as continuing to crunch #’s for @wonderlycreative . Shout out to @won_derly for always supporting, loving and encouraging me, even when it meant working late a lot of nights and hustling on the weekends. Also shoutout to @garyvee and @reezyresells for putting out so much amazing free content and showing a college dropout how to start and continue to grow a small business.

Sales the last 3 days have been crazy, especially today! Most of today’s sales were books I bought on Amazon and then sold right back for a profit! Just sent in 75 more books today, and finished prepping 56 more to send in tomorrow!

Closed out April with my best sales day so far! Out of the 6 items I sold today the most I paid was $2.00, and I turned that into a $37 sale. I’m excited to get more inventory sent in to Amazon, and to keep growing this thing!

I have slowly started to see more and more sales with Amazon over the past week or so. The majority of my sales have been books, as well as a few random calendars. My best sale so far has been a book I paid $.36 for and sold it for $25! Shoes are really fun to flip, but the initial investment for books is wayyyyyy cheaper. I’m excited to document the process of selling both!!
