LA NOCHE LLEVA ESPUELAS es un giallo fronterizo, un western gótico de horror que mezcla el realismo mágico, la violencia contemporánea y la mitología mexicana.
En una hacienda marcada por la corrupción, el narco y la trata de mujeres, un charro asesinado vuelve de entre los muertos —no como hombre, sino como juicio— para cobrarse, uno por uno, a los responsables de la muerte de su esposa.
El norte arde. Y las espuelas suenan.

El más joven de la banda; un morro del pueblo metido en malos pasos, con risa fácil, alma desordenada y esa ligereza inconsciente de quien todavía no entiende del todo el peso real de la violencia.
Hoze Meléndez se ha consolidado como uno de los actores más versátiles y singulares de su generación, con una presencia que ha dejado huella tanto en el cine como en la televisión mexicana. Su trabajo reciente en Cóyotl: Héroe y bestia y en el thriller Psicópata: El asesino del conejo blanco, junto con títulos como Cocodrilos y Un cuento de pescadores, lo confirma como un intérprete de gran rango, nervio y verdad en pantalla.
En La Noche Lleva Espuelas, da vida a Luisito: el más joven de la banda, fiestero, ocurrente y aparentemente ligero, pero ya contaminado por el mundo que lo rodea.
