We’re excited to share the first images of our Little Venice project. A hybrid kitchen design split across multiple zones to satisfy Grade II listed building regulations. This kitchen renovation uses a combination of stainless steel and simplified shaker styling to blend in with the heritage status of the stucco fronted building in West London’s Little Venice. Make sure you follow to see more images of this project as we share them in the coming days. #shakerkitchen #kitchenstyle #kitchenideas 📷 @82mmphotography 🏷️: @rachel_moreve_styling Interiors:@bystudiorss

Our Lilleshall Kitchen is a classic London lower ground floor space, reimagined with a modern sensibility. Natural marble and warm timber finishes introduce texture and contrast, while clean lines and considered detailing create a calm, contemporary atmosphere. Through a thoughtful combination of materials and clever spatial planning, what could have been a long, narrow lower ground floor is transformed into a bright, airy and spacious kitchen that feels welcoming and effortlessly connected, the true heart of the home. 📷️: 82mmphotography #LondonInteriors #BespokeJoinery #InteriorArchitecture #KitchenDesign #LuxuryKitchens #ModernCraftsmanship #MarbleAndTimber #DesignDetails #LondonDesign #InteriorInspiration #Materiality #TimelessInteriors #ContemporaryDesign #JoineryDesign #BespokeInteriors #LondonHomes

Kitchen debate: American fridge freezer vs French door vs oversized single door fridge or draw fridge which actually works best in a luxury kitchen? We consistently favour the oversized single door fridge, and here’s why. 🌟 American-style fridge freezers often appear generous in capacity, but in practice the internal layout can be restrictive. The compartments tend to be deep and narrow, which means visibility is reduced and items are easily lost at the back. Upper shelving can also become less practical to access, and door storage is often more limited than expected. 🌟 For clients wanting an integrated fridge/freezer solution, we generally prefer a French door system over an American style. The wide freezer drawers are a clear advantage a single pull gives full visibility, making organisation significantly easier and more efficient. However, the double-door fridge configuration has its drawbacks. In reality, you often need access to both sides, and the heavier doors typically require two hands to operate. This becomes less practical in day-to-day use, particularly when loading or unloading with full hands. 🌟 Our preferred solution is a large single door fridge (90cm ideally). It offers superior visibility, excellent door storage, and straightforward one-handed access. When paired with a separate under counter freezer, it delivers both functionality and a more refined, uninterrupted kitchen aesthetic. 🌟 For smaller homes, or bar areas, we LOVE a drawer fridge. So where do you stand? Is the single door solution underrated, or are we in the minority? 📷️: @82mmphotography 🏷️: @rachel_moreve_stying #kitchendesign #kitcheninspo #kitcheninspiration #kitchenideas #fridge

Do you know the difference between an American and a French fridge system? ❄️ American = side-by-side fridge and freezer ❄️ French = double fridge doors with freezer drawers underneath ❄️ Oversized = one large full-height fridge, usually paired with a separate freezer elsewhere in the kitchen If you don't know which one to choose in your next kitchen design, follow us. Our next post will outline why we heavily favour and why! 📷️: @82mmphotography 🏷️: @rachel_moreve_stying #kitchendesign #kitcheninspo #kitcheninspiration #kitchenideas #fridge

How long does a kitchen actually take to plan? Comment below. We’d love to see the range... Our answer... Longer than most people expect! The amount of planning time varies considerably depending on the type of kitchen you choose. Some things to consider: ✨️ If speed is your sole focus An off-the-shelf kitchen can move relatively quickly from decision to installation. ✨️ A fully bespoke kitchen, where every element from worktop material and door profile to island proportion and furniture layout is considered specifically for your home and how you live, takes time. But your efforts will be rewarded with the result. ✨️ Be aware of what can impact lead times. Specialist finishes, unusual materials and high-end appliances can take months to source. Factor this in early, particularly if you are working to a move-in date or a renovation deadline. ✨️ The main thing people don’t tend to factor in? Time to sit with an idea. To feel genuinely confident rather than just ready. Many of our clients simply need time for ideas to settle. A kitchen is one of the most significant investments you will make in your home, and one you will live with for decades. Rushing that decision rarely ends well. ✨️ Our key piece of advice? Start earlier than you think you need to. The best kitchens are never rushed. 🖤 #KitchenDesign #BespokeKitchen #KitchenRenovation #KitchenPlanning #designtip

When something lives outside 365 days a year, the way it is built is everything. We are not interested in the standard barbecues that look beautiful on day one and disappoint by year three. A BBQ needs to be built for decades, not seasons. That comes down to construction, and it is something we have spent years getting right. This is our most evolved build to date, and the details matter more than most people realise. A question we get asked a lot: should outdoor cabinetry be lined to prevent damp? It is a reasonable instinct, but lining can actually trap moisture between the timber and the liner, making things worse rather than better. Our new BBQ range is solid stained hardwood, which can construct in both oak or Iroko, combined with generous ventilation throughout so the furniture can breathe and moisture never gets the chance to collect. No liner. No shortcuts. Just the right material, built the right way. 🔥 Check out our new range online, and order soon to ensure yours will be available for this summer. 📷️: @82mmphotography 🏷️: @rachel_moreve_stying #OutdoorKitchen #BBQDesign #OutdoorLiving #BespokeGarden #LuxuryOutdoor #OutdoorCooking #GardenInspiration #HandmadeBBQ #OutdoorDesign #CraftedToLast #GardenGoals #LuxuryGarden #OakFurniture #OutdoorLuxury

Open shelving is having a moment but it's not always the answer. Sometimes, it is about what you choose to conceal. Glazed joinery can be used to subtly screen areas within rooms as well as cabinetry, bringing structure and definition without adding visual weight. It allows you to break up runs of cabinetry, soften elevations and introduce moments of interest, while still maintaining a sense of openness. Unlike solid fronts, glazed sections preserve lightness and depth, preventing larger pieces of joinery from feeling heavy or imposing. For a more considered finish, reeded glass offers gentle obscurity, concealing contents while adding texture and rhythm to the design. Sometimes the quieter design decisions have the greatest impact. 📷️: @82mmphotography #luxuryinteriors #kitchendesign #homedesign #bespokejoinery #interiorinspiration #designideas #glassscreens

Step inside one of our most popular kitchens. Behind a glass divide lies a clever secret… two kitchens in one space. One designed for performance, the other for entertaining seamlessly coexisting within a beautifully restored Grade II listed Georgian home in central London. Set within a rare green suburban oasis, this project redefines open-plan living. Heritage architecture and bespoke joinery meet the precision of commercial-grade stainless steel, creating a space that is as hardworking as it is striking. This is where classic meets cutting-edge. Where design doesn’t just look beautiful, it performs. 👉Follow us for more kitchen design inspo and design tips. Interior design: @bystudiorss studiorss #kitchendesign #kitcheninspo #designerkitchen

Those navy banquette seats aren't just beautiful, they're personal. Designed as a subtle nod to the client's love of classic Jaguars, the pleather upholstery echoes the interior of their favourite vintage car. It's this kind of detail that gives a space real meaning and turns a house into a home. Swipe to see how this one small touch ties the whole room together a brand new kitchen that feels like it's always been there, full of character, history and old world English charm. ✨ 📷️: @82mmphotography 🏷️: @rachel_moreve_stying Interior design: @blythcollinsinteriors #luxurykitchen #kitchendesign #kitcheninspo
