A powerful journey of music, memory, and ʻike. This moving documentary follows a group of local musicians as they travel to Kahoʻolawe to honor the 50th anniversary of its return from military use—an island once scarred by decades of bombing, now a living symbol of restoration and resilience.
Through pule (prayer), ceremony, and song, they reconnect with the island’s mana (spiritual power), creating an original album inspired by their time on this sacred land and the ongoing stewardship of Protect Kahoʻolawe ʻOhana.
This is more than a film—it’s a testament to cultural revival and aloha ʻāina.
