/album/blah-hidden-tears-the-beetle A massive apology to everyone who tried to buy my latest EP and was put off by the price. I made a huge mistake when setting the price on Bandcamp – I only set the amount for a single track and overlooked the absurd price for the entire EP. Hidden Tears / The Beetle is now available for £2.50 for both tracks or £1.50 for each! A big sorry once again! Blahdnb.bandcamp.com :)

BLAH – THE FINAL HOUR Lucid Dreaming / Organic We’ve been holding onto this two-track EP from none other than @blahdnb for a long time! We couldn’t deal with the anticipation any longer so it’s finally time to get this release out there 😆 Blah’s distinct early 2000s Neurofunk + Techstep sound captures everything we love about the darker side of drum & bass + jungle!! Producing for 20+ years, Blah is a true veteran and connoisseur of all things sinister in the drum and bass realm. We caught up with the man himself for a quick interview: When did your production journey begin? “I started in 1998 after discovering Impulse Tracker. From there I began putting breaks and basslines together, sticking mainly with jungle and drum & bass, which have been my favourites since my teens.” Who are your biggest influences in music today? “Artists like Optical, Dom & Roland, Decoder, DJ Brockie & Ed Solo, A-Sides, Konflict, and DJ Reality. Most of my inspiration comes from late ’90s and early 2000s sounds.” What equipment do you use to produce your tracks? “My main setup is the Emu ESI-32, with an Akai S3000xl for drums. For basslines, stabs, and FX I use synths like the Novation Xio and Korg Monologue. Everything runs through Renoise on PC, with various outboard FX, compressors, and EQs.” These tracks are free to download for the next 7 days! After that, the full EP will be available on Bandcamp for just £2 — so grab them while you can! Mastered by @guido.yz Artwork by @bushdwella Link in the bio 🔗
