Bring your seeds to the Big Seed Swap on Sunday 8th March!
As part of the Seed Festival in Haringey, London, we're creating space for you to share your seeds with others in community!
We encourage organic, open pollinated seed exchange to support us in our aim of building our local seed sovereignty to challenge the many issues our global family faces.
A grassroots initiative by local seed guardians, hosted at @wolveslanecentre and supported by @ubeleinitiative

Grower Spotlight 🌱
Jaydan, one of our beautiful growers, has recently rejoined us after spending time in Wales tending to the land. Always ready to lend a helping hand and share knowledge, Jaydan is a true pillar of the Blck Rootz community. If you see him make sure you say hello!
Our winter market last Sunday was something special. So grateful to our community for showing up, showing out, and filling the space with so much warmth 🎄💜✨
Today Pam taught us how to move our bigger collard green plants from their pots to the outdoors — plotting them out in staggered partings so each plant has enough space for its roots to stretch and grow.
Jaden then showed us how to keep them warm with a layer of hay — they’re not used to this climate, so we’re helping them acclimatise to growing here. We finished by covering them with nets so the birds can’t come and snack on them.
Handled with love and care… can’t wait to watch our collard greens thrive! 🥬✨
Today we release four short films that narrate a participatory process of design and construction, available now on our website! Link in bio
