This time @eyeseayouphoto was videoing ❤️💪The TOP TIPS Tuesday actions from this clip ARE: back hand way back (slid just before took off to get more pop!), Pop over the board but move outboards in the air in older to be in a better place to steer, push down hard on front arm & leg, pull up & in on back arm & leg, look behind you and see the clew, slide back hand back up the boom to get a more upright landing. Many people think the ‘sheeting in’ is the most important part, however I would say the prep & the steering with the legs & rig are the most important. SEND ITTTTT & push down hard on the front arm and leg ✌️

Forward loop tips from Magical Moulay. Both hands back, get the rig forward And across and from the pic you can see get the nose down and away. This is achieved mainly by pushing down and away on your front arm and leg, while the back arm, & leg, pull both UP and in. Spinning around. I love the challenge of a nice flat water forward on the way in as it forces you to pop the board hard and ‘send that nose to the sky’ and then rotate fast with aggressive rig steering and lots of leg work. You can see a lot of good actions here: Getting the nose up, lots of pop off my toe side, rig going forwards and across, looking behind me, scissoring the board hard with the legs. If i was to do it better I should; Extend my front leg more and really tuck up harder on the back leg and hold that tuck. Mauritius is great for looping both ways and it has mix of ramps, on port tack.

The highlights of each heat during Finals Day, paired to the songs I was listening to out there on the water, thanks to my drybag. Dancing to the music felt amazing yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came to watch, came to support: friends, family, community. I did something I haven’t been able to do in a long time, it feels good to be so in touch with the rhythm at Ho’okipa again.
Fun to compete again for the first time in 6 or 7 years, after being involved in the Tour for so long it was great to reconnect with friends and the emotions, maybe I’ll do it again, we’ll see!!
Congratulations to @mike_7i on claiming the Masters World Title, impressive stuff, maybe I’ll see you in Pozo next summer!

Gybing into the weekend. Top tips from this are: back hand waaaaaay back, prepare early, get speed before carving, roll forwards into the carve, actively open the sail, take some power clew first, rotate rig and look forwards as you carve off the heels, get planing in the front strap before hooking in.
