--IMAGINATION CREATES REALITY
Picture a child walking through a Victoria Street scene in winter, upon seeing a toy shop, the child presses their face against the glass which has frosted up in the snow. Slowly a dream begins to form in their mind, and the viewer is projected through the glass into the child's imagination.
The concept focuses on the idea that imagination creates reality, something that is intertwined with our industry as we bring designs to life through storytelling and images.
We would love to take this concept further in the future but for now enjoy this short piece.

Happy New Year Everyone! To start the year with a bang we wanted to showcase one of the projects that we were working on last year. This was a bit of experimentation for us as a studio, foraging a bit more into animation and trying out some new software.
This piece was a joint venture with everyone in the studio past and present.

ARABIAN NIGHTS
. Sunset is definitely one of our favourite times of day to experiment and in this #render, the pavilion architecture frames the low sun between the colonnade using a simple one point perspective. Sometimes the simple compositions can be the most effective !
We love telling storytelling within our images at Blackpoint, and really like the emotive nature of this piece. @coronarenderer and @autodesk3dsmax for the rendering and @photoshop for the mood and retouch work.

The unsung life blood and #saviour of our studio.... Some of the team are as much addicted to #coffee as we are addicted to creating beautiful images !
It gets us kicking in the morning and helps us to complete all those long deadlines, and helps us with inspiration for artsy shots like this.
Some of the team are getting so good at using it we are starting to worry they will leave to become Baristas.

This was a really fun project we worked on a while ago for @broadway.malyan architects for a fantastic master planning project in Maputo.
We loved activating the key routes throughout the scheme and popping the colours in this aerial image.
This was only the first stage of the master plan design so watch this space ! .

Architectural models are a fantastic design tool for architects to use during the design process as an exploration into scale, massing and individual details. They can also be used to break down the scheme and highlight the core concepts along with a few good parti diagrams. -
As much as we love getting stuck in with balsa wood and uhu, there is no funner brief than when we are asked to produce a 3D visualisation of a stripped back model to highlight the conceptual element of the scheme with a few select people to give scale to the concept. -

This was one we took on a recent photo walk in Manchester. We love the way the metal panels reflect the ambient light even on this overcast day and the warmth of the brick contrasts with the atmosphere of the shot.
