Darius Miles was one of the most exciting high school players in the country during his time at East St. Louis High School. His athleticism, length, and highlight dunks made him a nationally known prospect and one of the most entertaining forwards of his era.
Miles helped turn East St. Louis into a powerhouse while building a reputation for his flashy style of play and versatility on both ends of the floor. His mixtapes and in game highlights made him one of the most hyped players in high school basketball heading into the 2000 NBA Draft.
After high school, Miles skipped college and was selected 3rd overall in the 2000 NBA Draft, becoming one of the first players of the 2000s high school-to-NBA era.
