Thank you, Coach Olesen, for your leadership, patience, and belief in me throughout my journey at UNC Charlotte. As a jumper, you pushed me to trust my steps, attack the board, and compete with confidence. Every practice, every adjustment, and every correction helped shape me into the athlete and person I am today. Thank you for teaching me that success isn’t just about the distance I jump, but the discipline, focus, and mindset I carry with me every time I step onto the runway. To my teammates, thank you for the energy, support, and family we built together. My time at UNC Charlotte has been a journey I will always be grateful for. Over these past four years, I have grown not only as a student pursuing my degree but also as a person navigating both challenges and successes. There were moments when things felt overwhelming, when I questioned myself, and when the path ahead seemed uncertain, but those moments shaped me just as much as the achievements did. I also want to give a special thank you to my mom. Your love, support, and encouragement carried me through every high and low. On the days when I felt like giving up, you reminded me why I started. Your belief in me never wavered, even when mine did, and that gave me the strength to keep going. I wouldn’t be here without you, and I am forever grateful for everything you’ve sacrificed and done for me. Above all, I thank God for guiding me through this journey. My faith kept me grounded during uncertain times and gave me strength when I felt weak. Through every obstacle and every achievement, I trusted that there was a purpose for my path, and that belief carried me forward.
