On Sunday afternoon, we welcome Sopa Do Dia the project of @jokeleonare & @luispsg . We’re so excited to have these two beautiful souls with us at the Listening Room.

BLACK GRAVITY LISTENING ROOM
Today from 3 PM until 7 PM, @mills_boogie & @redray_ttt will guide us through the records that
helped shape breakdance culture.
From electroboogie and future funk to classic breaks and original vinyl selections.
About 15 years ago, seeing them play and later having many conversations with them about
music, connections between different sounds became a big inspiration for what eventually grew into Black Gravity Records.
Expect stories behind the records and a proper listening session.
Feel free to come by for a dig, a drink & a listen.
Black Gravity Dance is back for another Sunday evening dance session at @het_bos
This time, we’re inviting NTS resident @donnaleake1 for an extended 5-hour set. She is renowned for her deep selection skills. Every time we’ve seen her play, she’s surprised us with her storytelling moving effortlessly from Latin and Afro-Cuban sounds to dub and spiritual jazz dance grooves and everything in between. We feel she’s the perfect match for Black Gravity Dance: a dedicated digger and a true storyteller.
Alongside her, we invite @artisjok.records . Our dear friends and arguably some of the nicest people in the music scene @alyahriv and @xlregular (IT) will close the evening with their signature style: broken beat, Latin percussion, and sexy, soulful house grooves.

This evening, @billiesheartbeat joins us at the Listening Room.
Besides being one of the artistic driving forces behind Het Bos, she’s also an music collector with a deep love for Belgian sounds. Tonight’s selection will move through krautrock, synthpop, and other gems from Belgian artists.

On Sunday afternoon, two OGs of Antwerp’s music scene @mills_boogie & @redray_ttt will take a deep dive into Electro Boogie music, exploring the sounds, origins, and evolution of the breakdance craze that was rock-shocking the nation in the mid-80s. They’ll bring a selection of records and share some context around the movement and its lasting influence.

This evening 20:00 - 21:00 we are hosting R.omy at our Listening Room.
An Antwerp-based selector, she’s known on one side for her minimal and techno grooves, and on the other for her beautifully created opening sets often starting with ambient and downtempo sounds. We’re curious to see which direction she’ll take us this evening.
