A labor of love. A few years ago I found myself on the old part of Dubai for a sunrise shoot, and I stumbled upon a man leading a yoga class on the creek.
That story stayed with meā¦until I put out a feeler to see who would be interested in helping me produce and tell this story. Thatās where I had the privilege of working with @zubin__mistry and @belchonog . We joined forces to tell an untold story of Dubai, a part of Dubai that not many know about. From an empty shell to a fully equipped creative hub. The furniture is in, the little details are done, and the studio is finally ready.

Part 7 of building my sound studio in the UAE š¦šŖ ā sound clouds & tough choices!
Today itās all about installing the sound cloud panels above the mix position. These panels tame reflections from the ceiling, giving the room a tighter and more accurate sound.
Butā¦ not every plan goes smoothly. My skyline diffuser turned out way too heavy, so itās time to cut it down and rethinkā¦ š
Step by step, the space is getting closer to being a professional recording & mixing studio.
