This idea has been in my head for more than 10 years. It’s a small portion of a much bigger film idea. I worked hard with some great people to bring this to you by using some new tools for creating.
Things are tough out here right now, we’ve all suffered tough losses, and we’ve all been down for the count. It’s my hope and prayer that we won’t let it stop us. The rest of our story isn’t written yet. Please enjoy this film and share it with someone that may need this small piece of sunshine today.

Year 4 of making magic for @TheWebbyAwards ✨ aka stitching together epic internet greatness into video packages..including that one I sweated out until 4AM the night before…just in case 👽 could attend…(he couldn’t).
These vids introduce the honorees, show their energy, influence, and what makes them absolute legends. It’s like crafting a puzzle... if the pieces were vibes, memes, and last-minute clip requests. 🧩🔥

As a filmmaker on a tight budget, I couldn’t let the lack of money determine my creative output or compromise the creative vision. Sometimes you just gotta dig in and make it happen.
Here I break down the work it took to create virtual sets and locations for my short film “KEEP THE PACE”(link in bio) using the new tools in Photoshop, AI generated images from MidJourney, stock footage, and lots of patience and artistry.

Fun on set shooting Keep The Pace. @colsteez and @only1_fritz had me covered to make sure what we shot was what I made in pre-vis, and worked with the overall vision…except that one reference to that one wack movie 😂

Some fun behind the scenes from the short Keep The Pace. My budget didn’t allow for building a 200 ft long stadium corridor with hanging lights. Everybody gets their hands dirty with a small crew. Shout out to AD/Producing partner @only1_fritz on the hanging light effect, while I direct and act, and DP @colsteez captures it all on camera @redsummertvstudios
The hallway design was a process of about 20 iterations using #MidJourney then adjusting and redesigning in #AdobePhotoshop. I used #AfterEffects for lighting, dust, movement, and magic before compositing it all together.
I got quite a few questions about how I created the characters and sets. I’ll break down all the VFX and special character creation soon- so check out the short pinned up top so that ending twist doesn’t get spoiled. #film #production
