Hi furiends, I'm excited to share my new furiend Matcha
@matcha.the.cat_ ! We caught up on Cat Chat, and I heard her story.
"Hi! My name is Matcha, and I’m a 2-year-old girl living on the Pacific coast of Mexico with my pawrents and new baby brother, whom I refer to as “tiny human.” My pawrents adopted me when I was an itty baby, after I’d been found roaming the streets alone, very skinny, and full of fleas. From the very beginning, I was the chattiest girl, and I loved to play, I was so goofy and mischievous. To this day, I make my pawrents laugh all the time with my playfulness and rambunctious silliness, and even tiny human giggles at me too now.
My favorite food is 🍤 shrimp 🍤 (you’ll see that illustrated in some of my reels!), which Daddy catches for me from the ocean!
My favorite toys at the moment are brown string, giant feathers, acorn, garbage (boxes, of course), or anything that is meant for the tiny human (those things actually belong to me).
My favorite pastimes are napping in the silliest belly-up positions, making judgy facial expressions, making ekek noises at birds, playing hide n’ seek (n’ chase) with daddy, jumping out and scaring meowmy when she walks past, climbing up furniture and screens with my sharp panther-claws, and opening drawers and doors (I’m so dexterous).
I get my zoomies every day at 6 pm sharp, at which point, out of nowhere, I’ll start running like the wind across the house, and then I slide on the tile floors. I’ll then lay next to brown string meowing until someone plays with me. And when they do, I love jumping really high in the air and doing backflips. That’s tiny human’s favorite entertainment."
