“I wrote “Chameleon” with Ian Walsh during one of my lowest points when I wanted to change everything about myself. Living in Los Angeles has been a battle, especially in the arena of self-comparison. There are a lot of beautiful, rich, successful people here, and if you’re not one of them, you’re trying to be. It can be incredibly heavy. I used to be so proud of being a chameleon, someone who can adapt to any room and anything. Now, I think that adaptability is valuable, but I want to focus on being steady in myself.”
