I was super bummed out when I found out my porta two couldn't run on batteries... I bought it mainly because i wanted to take it on-the-go to make some Bibioesque field recordings
Luckily, I met Sarah at her @heavymannerslibrary cassette workshop and I found out she fixes tape machines! She fixed the battery issue, replaced the belts, and did some general maintenance and resoldering
So happy that my machine is working like new again 😁 Definitely check out @bl.uelabs 's repair services and look out for her future workshops!!
