Don't bring flowers to my grave.
I can't smell them, I can't see them.
I prefer you to talk about me.
As you talk, I continue to exist.
Because you talk, I continue to matter.
Flowers are no good for me.
As a religious man, I ask that you bring me the 4 apostles of alcoholic anonymity.
Jim, Beam, Jack & Daniels. It has been a while since we met.
We share fond memories as we transform into the four horsemen of Apocalypse.
Let me escape your memories to share the same space and time with you once more.
I hope that this brings a smile.
I hope that this brings some grief.
Grief is the receipt of love.
Grief is my comfort that I mattered.
Grief is your discomfort that I still owe you money from my last pint.
Do not look under my bed.
You will not find me there.
But you may find some things I keep as memories.
You may find my diary where untold secrets are kept.
If you wish to be shocked or surprised, I cannot stop you from turning the pages.
I ask for one more favour so that I can owe you even more.
I ask that you visit my mom, wife and kids to check in on them.
I ask that you show some care and remind my family that I miss pranking them.
Ask them to close the window because I may return. This will cut off their escapes.
Ask them not to try too hard, all I need is for them to remember me once again.
From mutters of sweet memories to the unleash of passionate vulgarities, all expressions of love and hatred are appreciated.
If they wish to have nothing more with me, congratulate them. If they wish to talk about me, thank them.
If I look down from heaven, I may pity you.
If I look up from hell, I will haunt you.
If I visit you, I am lost.
I hope that you are stuck under my bed. There is no diary there. May you know that good friends will never allow you to do stupid things on your own.
Don't bring flowers to my grave.

Thank you @theblackbird.sg
Thanks for being family.
We drank, sang and made memories for life.
Music on the stage. Friendship off the stage.
Thanks for making a difference.
Blessed birthday. More awesome days to come.

BIG birthday party vibes this Saturday night at Muddy's. We're on stage 8:30 till 9:45. Lots of cool stuff happening before and after us too. See you there!
Our last time at Molly's had just about everything.... a wall-to-wall packed house, a bright yellow crowd control barrier, (unintentional) stage divers, a singalong in the dark, and general joyous mayhem into the wee early morning hours. What will this Friday hold in store? Come let's find out! 9pm till late...
Little unplanned moments of magic are the things one remembers most from gig nights. Like when the power goes out but the audience is louder than the band anyways and it all becomes one glorious singalong... and then when the lights came back on we kicked right back in as if it had all been one carefully orchestrated plan from the start!! It all went down in Molly's after midnight - packed with music lovers who just weren't ready to call it a night yet after the superb St Patrick's Day Street Festival. As they say the show must go on.... and boy did it ever :) 🎙️🎸 🥁 🎶 ☘️
Sunday was a simply BRILLIANT day out at the St Patrick's Day street festival, including bringing the weekend to a close with a packed midnight gig at Molly Malone's. Vids to follow. Meantime seen here between performances with future Blackberries drummer! 🥁
St Patrick's Day Street Festival, 5pm today @ Circular Rd, Boat Quay. If it rains, no worries, you can stand under our umbrella... ella...ella!! Game on!!!
