I am so excited to finally have a photoshoot with the incredible @marcobrigs for my best drag look from the 2024 Capital Pride Pageant. This look meant so much to me it expressed who I am and what I’ve been through. After surviving Guillenne Barre Syndrome drag truly made me feel like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

He is Ottawas favourite choking hazard @bj_stroker ! BJ started drag August of 2022 and is taking the drag scene by storm! Winner of the Big Slay at the 2023 Newbie Awards, winner of Mr. Congeniality Ottawas Next Drag Superstar season 2 ,semi finalist in Absolute Empires Ball, winner of Mr Capital Pride 2024, winner of Ottawas Next Drag Superstar All Stars and most recently Mr NG Pride 2025. He is producer and host for Bjs babes of burlesque and Bj and the boys an all king drag show. He is also Coprodcer of luscious creatures variety show and Mr Luscious King an annual drag King competition
As a survivor of Guillain Barre Syndrome, BJ is here with a message of positivity and love through adversity. Drag is a love letter to his recovery and he can’t wait to show the world through his charismatic high energy performances
