At long last, @bittercube and @heirloomliqueurs are returning to the RAY-borhood! Join us and the @rayswinemequon crew on May 15th for a cocktail basics and techniques showcase featuring Heirloom Liqueurs and Bittercube Bitters. Bittercube has long considered mixing cocktails to be very similar to “cooking” with spirits. If the liquor cabinet is our pantry, then we should consider liqueurs and bitters our spice rack. During this class, you will be presented with a handful of formulas. With these formulas (or cooking ratios) and a better understanding of our “spice rack,” you'll unlock and ease your personal experience of mixing delicious cocktails! Featured sippers will include: ☞ Heirloom Genepy Sour ☞ Pineapple Side Piece ☞ Old Fashioned at Heart ☞ Heirloom Espresso Martini Friday May 15th | 6:00PM - 7:30PM | Ray's Mequon Get your tickets via our link in bio ⤴

Better than flowers? We think so 💐 This @heirloomliqueurs Crème De Flora Spritz is the perfect simple yet elegant Mother’s Day brunch / garden party / celebratory springtime sparkling sipper. @heirloomliqueurs Crème de Flora brings a liquid bouquet of wildflowers and soft botanicals, while @bittercube Bolivar bitters add a sophisticated layer of chamomile and dried fruit for a little earthy depth. Top with chilled bubbles and club soda for a bright, effervescent toast ✨🥂

Swap the bourbon for rum, gin, or tequila and mezcal to keep that classic spirit-forward vibe with a summer twist 🥃 Here are 3 ways to riff on the Old Fashioned for the sunnier season: 🌵 Oaxacan Old Fashioned – Mezcal provides a smoky finish to this classic. @bittercube Chipotle Cacao bitters bring a whisper of chili heat and coffee earthiness, while Orange bitters round everything out with a caramelized citrus note. 🍹 Rum Old Fashioned – @bittercube Ginger Allspice & Grapefruit Hibiscus Bitters team up to elevate the aromatic spice of full bodied dark rum bringing an unexpected tropical vibe, blended together by rich demerara syrup. 🍊 Citrus Gin Old Fashioned – A gin Old Fashioned is akin to a Martini, but the body and aromatics added by syrup and bitters help paint a picture of gin in high definition. @bittercube Orange bitters punch up the citrus and herbal notes of gin and brighten the nose of the drink. We couldn't help but draw inspiration from our state's favorite cocktail - the brandy old fashioned. We took a beautiful amber lager and gave it the Wisconsin spin it deserved. Fashionable was conditioned on Brandy-soaked Oak Spirals with Cherry, Orange Peel, and Cherry Bark Bitters Mash from @bittercube (Milwaukee, WI). Fashionable will be available on draft and in 4-packs to go this Friday!

Bittercube Root Beer bitters are unique, versatile, and a must- have for your bar. They also lend themselves exceedingly well to non-alcoholic applications! We love a heavy-handed dashing into a cold glass of seltzer for a refreshing, sugar-free dry soda that satisfies. Our favorite unconventional application? A few dashes atop a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 🍨 Give it a try! #bitters #cocktailbitters #bittercube

With spring in the air and summer rapidly approaching, we're dreaming of afternoons filled with backyard beverages and spicy, vibrant sippers. Cue: the Michelada cravings. Think of a Michelada as the refreshing, beer-based cousin to the Bloody Mary. 🍅🍺🍋‍🟩🧂🌶️ It’s a zesty, savory mix of Mexican lager, lime, and spices—usually served in a salt-rimmed glass with a splash of Clamato. Basically the ultimate lighter "hair of the dog" or backyard BBQ staple. Level Up Your Michelada Game 🍻🌶️ If you want a Michelada that has a complex, customizable bite rather than the vinegar sting, the secret is swapping out the mass-produced hot sauce for @bittercube All Day Spicy Bitters. Bitters integrate into the beer seamlessly, giving you all the spice and botanical depth without changing the texture of your brew. Here is how we build the ultimate All Day Spicy Michelada: The Rim: Run a lime wedge around a chilled glass and dip it into @burlapandbarrel Black Lime and Chili Salt. The Base: Add 3oz Clamato (or tomato juice of choice), 3/4 oz fresh lime juice, a couple pinches of table salt, 2 dashes of Worcestershire, and 2 dashes of soy sauce to the bottom of the glass. The Heat: This is the game changer. Instead of hot sauce, add 2+ heavy dashes of All Day Spicy Bitters. Give it a taste, and add more if you want to punch up the spice level. Give all the ingredients a quick swirl to mix. The Brew: Fill the glass with ice and top with a crisp cold Mexican Lager. The Finish: Give it a gentle stir and garnish with a lime wheel (and maybe a hot pepper if you’re feeling extra). Mouthwateringly tangy, crisp, and seriously spicy. ☀️🔥 #michelada #bitters #beercocktail
